Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of the Recess - Your Match Made app ("the App"), created and operated by Matthew De Montfort Shepherd ("the Operator"), based in Florida. By using the App, you (“you”) (the person agreeing to these terms) agree to abide by these terms.

Account Creation:

Users are required to create accounts to use the App.

All information provided during registration must be accurate and up-to-date.

Profile Pictures:

Users may upload pictures for their profiles.

Inappropriate or explicit pictures are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension or ban.

Age Restriction:

• The App is intended for users who are 18 years or older.
• You have not committed, been convicted of, or pled no contest to a felony or indictable offense (or crime of similar severity), a sex crime, or any crime involving violence or a threat of violence, unless you have received clemency for a non-violent crime and we have determined that you are not likely to pose a threat to other users of recess;
• You are not required to register as a sex offender with any state, federal or local sex offender registry

Compliance:

• Comply with all applicable laws, including without limitation, privacy laws, intellectual property laws, anti-spam laws, and regulatory requirements
• Treat other users in a courteous and respectful manner, displaying good sportsmanship principles
• You will not misrepresent your identity, including age & image

Match Attendance:

Attending matches organized through the App is at the user's own risk.

The Operator and the company are not liable for any injuries or incidents that may occur during matches.

Prohibited Language and Behavior:

Threatening, harassing, or violent language is strictly prohibited on the App.

Users engaging in such behavior may face account suspension or ban.

Location Sharing:

Users agree to share their location with Recess during match times.

Other players will also have access to this location information for the duration of the match.

Privacy and Data Usage:

The App collects and uses user data in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual Property:

The App, its logo, and all associated content are the intellectual property of the Operator.

Users are prohibited from reproducing, distributing, or using any content without explicit 

permission.

Feedback and Contact:

Users are encouraged to provide feedback, bug reports, or inquiries to bestrecess@gmail.com.

Termination of Service:

The Operator reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts for violation of these terms or any other reason deemed necessary.

Changes to Terms and Conditions:

The Operator may update or modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes.

Governing Law:

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state of Florida.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the App.
